Our Mission
The Iron Swords Foundation (ISF) was created in direct response to the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. During this tragic event, communities without adequate security measures were overrun, resulting in significant loss of life and destruction. In contrast, communities equipped with well-trained, well-supplied first-responder units were able to hold off and repel the attacks.
This stark difference highlighted the urgent need for better security preparedness across vulnerable areas of Israel.
Addressing Security Gaps for Threatened Communities
The ISF’s primary mission is to enhance the security capabilities of firstand second-level threat communities in Israel. We aim to equip these regions with state-of-the-art technology, including surveillance systems, communications tools, and advanced protective gear.
These resources will improve the ability of local responders to detect, repel, and respond to evolving security threats, safeguarding civilians from future attacks.
Supporting Israel’s High-Tech Entrepreneurs Impacted by War
In addition to addressing security needs, the ISF is focused on supporting Israel’s vibrant high-tech industry, which has been severely impacted by the war. Many entrepreneurs and business leaders have been called into active military service, leaving their startups and ventures without leadership or operational support.
This disruption threatens the future of Israel’s innovation economy at a critical time.
The ISF will provide immediate financial aid in the form of grants and donations to tech entrepreneurs. These funds will serve as a lifeline, allowing them to continue business development efforts or restart their ventures once they complete their military service. Our goal is to ensure that the high-tech sector can weather the current crisis and continue to contribute to Israel’s long-term economic growth and stability.
